Nicole Byrne joined the Florida State Student-Athlete Academic Service staff in May of 2015 as an intern. In May of 2016 she was promoted to Educational Services Coordinator.  In August of 2016 she joined the staff full time as the Tutorial Coordinator/Learning Specialist.

She is the departmental Tutorial Coordinator where she provides supervision and coordination of the tutoring program for student-athletes and oversees a staff of seventy tutors.

Byrne completed her Master’s degree in Higher Education Counseling at West Chester University in Pennsylvania in 2015.  She was a graduate assistant in the Athletic Academic Mentoring program and the Student-Athlete Support Services unit while at West Chester.  Byrne earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2011 in sports management and communication and worked for four years with the Rutgers men’s basketball team. 

Byrne has a very diverse background in athletics as she has worked with professional teams and youth athletics at the famed Madison Square Garden.

Byrne is from Sinking Spring, Pa.
