Tatum Rochin joined the Florida State University Student-Athlete Academic Services staff in May of 2017 as an intern.  

Prior to joining the Florida State University Athletic Department, Rochin was a Graduate Assistant for Northern Arizona University where she earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. While there, she oversaw the men and women’s tennis programs and women’s soccer in its Student-Athlete Development Department while also working with football. Her responsibilities included weekly meetings with the student-athletes, coaches, and other administrative staff in regards to academic standing and degree progress for individual students. She also assisted in teaching a freshman and senior level life skills class, organized community service events, and helped build a new Career Development program for the department.

During her undergraduate studies at NAU, Rochin served as an officer on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as well as a captain for the women’s tennis team.

Rochin is passionate about helping student-athletes succeed inside and outside of the classroom by providing academic support and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

She grew up in San Angelo, Texas and Tucson, Arizona
