Deana Ruggeri, a Long Island and West Palm Beach native, joined the Florida State University Student Athlete Academic Services in May of 2012. In October of 2015 she was named Assistant Director for the department. In August of 2016 she was promoted to Director of Football Advising.

Deana is an alumna of FSU where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology in 2010. Before joining the SAAS team, she earned her Masters of Arts in Sport and Fitness with a concentration in Sport Leadership at the University of Central Florida in 2011. During her time at UCF, Deana also served as a Graduate Assistant with Academic Services for Student-Athletes.

Deana is extremely passionate about Florida State Athletics and is very grateful to have the opportunity to be back and working at her alma mater.
