Jackie Gabbard Belle joined the FSU Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS) team in January of 2020 and currently serves as the Academic Advisor for Men’s Tennis, Swimming & Diving, and Women’s Tennis. . She also teaches SLS 3360: Life After Sport (2 credits); a professional development course for junior and senior student-athletes.

Jackie started working for SAAS as an undergraduate student, serving as a tutor for multiple subject areas. Jackie previously worked as a Career Advisor at the FSU Career Center for five years, and as a Workplace Learning Coordinator at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Jackie earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences, and her Master of Science and Education Specialist degrees in Counseling, both from Florida State University. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) and member of the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).

Jackie is a Tallahassee native, and both her dad and brother played football for FSU. Jackie and her husband, Josh, have one child and enjoy spending time outdoors with family and pets.
