Corey Talley rejoined the Florida State SAAS Department in August 2022.  

Prior to FSU, he worked at the University of Arizona as a Senior Academic Counselor. He worked with Football Defense, Women’s Track & Field, and Men’s Swim & Dive. In addition to his academic counselor role, Corey served on the ICA Inclusive Excellence Council. This program focused on enriching departmental and institutional equity, diversity and inclusion for both staff and student athletes.

Prior to joining the C.A.T.S. Academics team, Talley was an intern in the Florida State University Student-Athlete Academic Services department. There, he worked specifically with Track and Field and Softball.

A native of Williamsburg, VA., Talley holds a B.S. Degree in Sport Management and a M.A. Degree in Higher Education Administration, both from West Virginia University. Corey is a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors (N4A) as well as a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
