Isaac Rodriguez joined the Florida State University Student- Athlete Academic Services Staff in May 2018 as an intern. In June of 2019 he was promoted to Academic Advisor.

Prior to arriving at Florida State, Rodriguez was an athletic academic advising intern at Minnesota State University Mankato. Rodriguez's main responsibilities were to monitor the academic eligibility and provide academic support for the football, soccer, softball, track and field teams.

During his career as a football student athlete Rodriguez was two year letterman at South Dakota State University before graduating and transfering for his final year of eligibility to Minnesota State University Mankato. Rodriguez also served on Minnesota State University-Mankato's coaching staff as a student assistant in the spring of 2017. He worked primarily with the running backs and also assisted in additional areas on the offense side of the ball. Rodriguez, was a member of 2018 NSIC conference football championship team.  

Isaac is extremely passionate about helping students athletes achieve their goals in the classroom and enjoys playing a part in student athletes reaching their career goal beyond the field. Isaac recently married his college sweetheart Emily, and they have two adorable dogs named Brody and Charlie.
