Evan joined the Florida State University Student-Athlete Academic Services Staff in June 2022.  

Prior to arriving at Florida State, Gray earned his master's degree in Athletic Leadership at Clemson University. While pursuing his degree, Gray worked as A student intern for P.A.W (Passionate About Winning) Journey which is a leadership initiative for Clemson’s football team. In this role he worked closely with the athletes in career and professional development.

Gray graduated with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology Sport Studies with a minor in Business Administration in 2019 at the University of New Hampshire (UNH). While at UNH, he played on the football team and was a First Team Conference player in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). He was a senior captain and was rewarded the Tine True Award which is a reward to a student-athlete at UNH to honor the Individual’s commitment to strength and conditioning.

After graduating from UNH, Gray pursued a master's degree at Clemson University (his parent’s Alma Mater). Gray also attended the inaugural NFL/NCAA Administrators Academy – an institute focused on providing insight and knowledge to aspiring leaders in athletic Leadership and football administration.

Gray is a native of Centreville, Virginia
