Jexsamarie Perez joined Florida State University in May 2026 as a Student-Athlete Success Fellow.

Jexsamarie was born and raised in Orlando, FL. She earned her bachelor’s degree in health science from the University of North Florida. While at UNF, she was a member of the varsity women’s volleyball team. She also interned with the UNF Student-Athlete Center for Excellence (SACE) during Spring ‘25.

After UNF, Jexsamarie worked as an Assistant Academic Support Specialist for UNC-Chapel Hill. In 2025, she was accepted into Florida State University’s educational psychology program and is expected to graduate in May 2027.
