Joshua Cohoon joined the Florida State University Student-Athlete Academic Service Staff in June 2021 as an intern.

Prior to Florida State University, Cohoon received his master's degree in Education with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming from 2019-2021. During his graduate program, Cohoon served as an intern for the Office of Academic Support in the Wyoming Athletic Department. He assisted in day-to-day operations in the academic center, while also getting the chance to work with football, swimming and diving, wrestling, track and field, and cross country student-athletes. His duties included meeting weekly with assigned student-athletes to go over coursework and homework assignments, creating time management plans, studying strategies, and organizational skills, class checking, monitor study hall and tutor sessions, and collaborate with academic staff after every semester to help with NCAA eligibility certification.

Cohoon attended Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado from 2012-2015 where he received a bachelor's degree in Psychology in December 2015. While there, he worked with the Maverick Athletic Facilities and Operations Department to set-up, run, and teardown different athletic venues and events.

Cohoon is a current member of N4A.
