Laura Sanderson joined Florida State University in May 2025 as a Student-Athlete Academic Success Fellow. She was promoted to a full-time position as a Learning Specialist in January 2026.

Laura earned her bachelor's degree in Psychological Sciences with a minor in Biology from Northern Arizona University. While at NAU, she interned with the strength and conditioning and the nutrition staff in the athletic department.

In 2023, she was accepted into Florida State University's sport psychology master's program and has since completed her degree. While pursuing her master's degree, she worked as a student-athlete mentor for the FSU SAAS department and coached high school beach volleyball.

She is a native of Yuma, Arizona.
