Lizzie Ley joined the Florida State University Student-Athlete Academic Services Staff in May 2026 as an Academic Fellow.

Lizzie attended The College of Charleston from 2020 - 2024 where she earned her degree in Psychology. She also received her master’s degree in Sport Psychology and Motor Behavior from the University of Tennessee in 2025.In the Spring of 2026, Lizzie obtained a graduate certificate in Intercollegiate Athletics Academic Success from the University of Mississippi. 

Before joining the fellowship program, Lizzie worked at the Thornton Athletics Student Life Center as an Academic Mentor at the University of Tennessee as well as a Student Mental Performance Coach for Carson Newman Women's Golf.

She is a native of Cape May, New Jersey.
